I just installed ubuntu version 7.10 desktop edition,
whenever I try to bookmark a page or save a file with firefox
it returns the following error
XML Parsing Error: not well-formed
not sure what caused it, but in order to fix you problem
you can simple reinstall by doing
~$ sudo apt-get --purge --reinstall install firefox
